I’m originally from Ukraine and have completed Level 2 Nurse Assistant training. I have always loved animals and find great joy in caring for them. Working here allows me to do what I truly value – helping animals feel safe, comfortable and loved.
Our Receptionists

Kristie
Receptionist
I’m Kristie ☺ I have been working for Cherry Tree Vets since the end of April 2017 and work across both Diss and Harleston practices. I have a keen interest in animals having grown up around them and love meeting the new (and old!) animals that come into the practice. I have 2 dogs at home; Kroos, a rescue German Shepherd and Bella, a Yorkshire Terrier Cross.

Jo
Receptionist
I’m Jo. I’ve worked at our Diss practice since February 2014 and lived in Diss for over 20 years. Previously I have worked in care of the elderly and childcare. Working here for many years has allowed me to really get to know our clients and their pets, enabling me to deliver the best possible service and care.

Maria
Receptionist
I’ve been working at Cherry Tree Vets Harleston since the beginning of April 2025. I have a long history working with animals, specifically horses, and am a qualified BHS Stage 4 Instructor. I have travelled the world teaching and training and have gained valuable experience with many animals and different cultures. Once I returned to the UK, I worked on reception at a veterinary practice in Kent for 10 years. I enjoy the variety of work whilst on reception and enjoy meeting new clients and their lovely pets. I have 2 black flat coated retrievers, Bandit and Bomber (named appropriately!) and a retired ex racehorse, Jack, who came over from Saudi to have a better life. He’s now nearly 25!

Sharon
Receptionist
Hi my name is Sharon. I have worked at Cherry Tree Vets since the beginning of December 2017. I have always had a keen interest in animals as I grew up with a wide variety of them. I love meeting all the animals and their owners (of course) and everyday is different as no two animals are the same. I have two cats at home, Barney (who secretly thinks he’s a dog) and Daisy.

I work on reception at our Harleston practice although you may occasionally see me at our Diss practice too. I’ve worked for Cherry Tree Vets since April 2024. I’ve had a love for animals for as long as I can remember thanks to being surrounded by them from a young age. This also influenced my decision to attend Easton College where I achieved an extended diploma in Animal Management. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know our regular clients and their pets, welcoming new clients and supporting them through every stage of their pet’s lives.
